ELIGIBILITY OF THE MEMBERS

Male and Female aged above 18 years who are in the business of trading / servicing, computer, accessories, peripherals, consumables and allied business. Should have valid registration under state/central government authorities as a trader / service provider for minimum two years in and around Tiruvannamalai, (Polur, Chengam, Vettavalam, Thandarampattu, Kilpennathur) can become the member of the society.

THE PROCEDURE TO DISMISS A MEMBER:

a. Those who act against the aims and rules, regulations of the society, can be suspended with pending enquiry and dismissed by the EC if proved guilt. However, the notice will be served giving 7 days time. b. Those who are entering into a criminal offence and convicted by the court of law / civil suits filed by any one of the member with regard to cheque bouncing and convicted will be dismissed from the membership permanently. c. Those who have not paid their annual subscription fee (may be dismissed from the membership by the EC, will not be eligible to continue as a member for the running term. d. Those who have not attended four consecutive GB meetings in a year without proper written reason will be automatically lose his rights as a member for the running term. e. The member who writes through mails in our group and related groups which attracts complaints and validly proved by the affected / which come under the cyber law will be suspended or dismissed by the EC.

RESIGNATION BY THE MEMBER

Members can resign as per their own wish at any time. Those who like to resign from the membership shall apply to the president and secretary in writing. Note: EC should approve resignation if any legal actions or disciplinary actions taken against the member due to reasons with in limit of association bylaw

RIGHTS OF THE MEMBER:

a. Every member shall have a right to vote. b. Has the right to view accounts of the society and clarify his doubts. c. Has the right to participate all the events /activities. d. Has the right to nominate himself for all kinds of elections, provided he/she should meet the eligibility criteria. e. Every member has equal rights to express his/her view and suggestions to the group as well as the grievances pertaining with vendors through office bearers and to CONFEDITA through CONFED EC members.

DUTIES OF THE MEMBERS:

The members shall abide with the aims and rules of the society / they shall pay regular subscription and other fees applicable without making any delay. The Member / EC Member / Office bearer should be never getting any funds from the society, excepting on health grounds / medical emergencies and is approved by EC / GB / as the case may be.

THE RESPONSES OF THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

a. The aims of the society detailed in the documents should be executed. b. To take necessary actions against the members who act against the norms of association. c. To verify and inspect all the accounts of expenses which were spent for the purposes of the society. d. To prepare the annual receipts and expenditures statements and submit it to the General Body. e. To submit the change, if any, in the executive committee to the Registrar within 3 months of such change and remit the fees accordingly. f. To submit the information about the change of the office address in case, within 3 months of such change, to the registrar in Form No. V, along with the prescribed fee. g. To bring over amendments from the present bylaw if necessary or in the sub sections of the bylaw, it must be furnished to approval of the General Body and approved and then only it can be executed.
